Ulu Yam Lor Mee @ Kepong

It has been more than 10 yrs that i had Lor Mee @ Ulu Yam Lama. I used to frequent the Lor Mee sold from a house converted to a shop & it sells Lor Bak too. Next to this shop is a small olden days grocery store which still provide the 'tikam-tikam' machine with prizes to be won.

Too bad that i can't recall on the route going there anymore. For all i know, those days i took the Batu Caves kampung trunk road to get there & it was about an hour drive. In disappointment, i went to a shop in Kepong selling Ulu Yam Lor Mee. The owner is the relative of my friend & they hail from Ulu Yam.

Sorry for the mess due to the starchy soup & i dare not wipe off the stains around the bowl coz other customers were staring @ me for busying with my camera @~@

Not really yummy due to the Black Vinegar sauce which tasted differently from the one others normally used.

Deep fried fish cake which was fresh & yummy
