Yorkshire Pudding & Toad In The Hole

My son brought back quite an amount of sausages from a BBQ party last night. Woke up this morning & the first thing that striked my mind was to make these two Classic British Cuisine. It was my first attempt & it came out very well. Really happy with the result ^-^

Lam Mee @ Damansara Utama

A friend brought me to savor the yummy May King Lam Mee @ Pudu quite some time back & today was told that it has an outlet @ Damansara Uptown. Without any hesitation, i make my way there after lunch hrs. I was there by 2.30pm but was rounding for a parking lot. In the end, i gave up & went into Uptown 5 parking. This parking building was SO QUIET !! Without any human in sight even it was fully occupied on mostly all the levels. No security guards in sight too which gave me a chill down my spine for the fear of being 'stalked ' ..... i was with my 2 boys & we can't find the exit even with signage leading to the lift & lobby. The situation was getting scarier & we ran our lives out using the exit for cars going out of the building. Finally, it was a relieved we we see sunshine as we were exiting the last level. WOW ! sounded as though i was in a thriller movie huh ?! LOL

OK, back to the Lam Mee. We walked quite a big round to get there & tadaaaaa ........

Found it !

Additional menu

Simple table settings

The famous Lam Mee but it was a let down. Not as tasty as the one i had before. The taste of the gravy was mild & the noodle was kinda hard in texture.

My boy had Nasi Lemak with fried chicken. I forgot to try a spoonful of it. Surprisingly, my boy gave the fried chicken to his younger brother .... not sure if it was not tasty or he was done with his meal.

Soup dumplings & stuffed ladies fingers

Just a plain fish paste without any condiments. Failed !

Their signature fried Foo Chook

Total let down ! Rather than being crispy, it was hard & cold when served. As you can see, only the outer layer was fried but not the center layers which still holds the original Foo Chook texture.

Fish meat balls .... no comment ....

The bill came up to RM 43.00 with 3 glasses of Iced Cincau.
